About Janice Parsons and The Bead Shop
Janice Parsons is the owner and CEO of The Bead Shop. For almost 20 years, Janice Parsons has been building a successful retail bead business in a unique, expanding market. The Bead Shop is growing at an average rate of 20% per year.
The Bead Shop’s vision is to empower people through creativity with beads. Before starting The Bead Shop, Janice spent over 10 years in various advertising positions. Her background also includes illustration for national magazines, selling custom jewelry in major department stores and starting a ceramic jewelry company.
Janice was born in Connecticut but raised in Palo Alto. She holds a degree in fine arts from the University of California at Berkeley and is the proud mother of Ashley.
