| Step 1: Begin by stringing your multiple strands on Soft Flex or Beadalon. Don't close off any strands right now. Wait until you have them all strung before you pick up your crimping pliers. |
Step 2: Check them all for length. Before you hold any of them up, make sure each has a taped flag of each end to secure the beads on the wire - this is NOT when you want to have your beads rolling all over the floor. |
Step 3: Measure the length of your clasp and the two soldered rings. This length is usually 1.5" or more. Jot down the length you measured. |
Step 4: Hold each one up to evaluate them individually; Are you pleased with each one? You may find that one isn't bold enough by itself. That's fine. |
Step 5: Now tape them all together and hold them up for a final check. Be sure to include the length of the clasp with rings to your measurement. You are looking for the TOTAL length, which includes the clasp. |
Step 6: You're happy and ready to end. Using crimping pliers, crimp beads and crimp covers, attach each strand to a soldered ring. Complete* each necklace one-by-one and set them aside. |

| Step 7: Attach them all on one side of the "S" clasp by opening the wire of the clasp slightly to accommodate the rings. Now hold the necklace up to yourself and add each ring of the other side to the opposite side of the clasp. You might want to pinch the ends of the clasp in a little to insure the rings don't fall off. Look up and give yourself a huge smile. |
Step 8: This is just the beginning. You can end all of your necklaces this way and mix and match them using one clasp. For a dressy occasion you can thread a length of organza through the soldered ring, instead of the "S" clasp for a more festive, feminine look. Voila! |
