Softflex
Step 1:
Once your design is
complete, add a
crimp bead to the
Soft Flex.
 Step 2:
Slide one side of a
wire guardian onto
the Soft Flex, with
the loop-shaped end
of the wire guardian
facing away from the
crimp bead.
 Step 3:
Slide your clasp
(toggle clasp shown
here) onto the open
side of the wire
guardian. You may
need to gently pry
open the wire
guardian using your
needle-nose pliers,
depending on the
thickness of the
clasp.
 Step 4:
String the loose end
of the Soft Flex
through the clasp,
through the second
end of the wire
guardian and finally
through the crimp
bead.
 Step 5:
Using the crimping
tool, crimp as usual,
but be sure not to
crimp too close to
the wire guardian.
You will need this
extra room for your
crimp bead cover.
 
Step 6:
Using the crimping
tool, add your crimp
bead cover over the
crimp bead.
 Step 7:
For a tighter fit, you
can gently squeeze
the ends of the wire
guardian closed
using your
needle-nose pliers.
